When I went to the Ueno park, I also went to the Tokyo National Museum. And then it has exhibition of The National Treasure ASHURA and Masterpieces from Kohfukuji. I was not interested in Ashura but 10000people visited in first day of this exhibition. Because of that I just went to there. :P
So then why 10000people wanted to see Asura? Well the reason was this: this is the very first time that nomale people, like me, can see Ashura, he Devas of the Eight Classes and the Ten Great Disciples of Buddha. They used to be only the temple of Kohfukuji. So that is why people want to see it.
By the way, ashyra, which has three face and six arms, is a guardian deity. Why it has three face and six arms? I don't know :P
Today I went to Ryoji Ikeda exhibition at Museum Contemporary Tokyo of Art. These days most of exhibition that I went was quite bad but this one was really good!! Actually I went to the museum to see another things, which was not good. So I was really surprised.
His works are media art, which mix elector sound and mathematics. The art piece was projected huge wall, about 20m by 10m. I don't know, it just made me feel WOW. ohh my friends, you just have to check it!!! In a way you can say his work was motion graphic.
And I bought his DVD!! But the DVD didn't contain the piece that I saw today!! Too bad!!! But I can see his other artwork.
Anyway I am really happy to see his work! By the way the web doesn’t enough to tell his work at all.
Yesterday I went to this exhibition, “ECHO” exhibition. http://www.cb-a.jp/
I tell you simply result; it was suck, amazingly suck. even i cannt talk about this even you ask me. the web site look great! but exhibition itself was suck. i dont know how i should describe about this. I will ever go again.
Only good thing was that this is first time to visit there and I was able to eat New Zealand cuisine for lunch, which I will not eat again either.
By the way, the place is close to Russian embassy. Well, if you go that building of exhibition, you can also able to see Russian embassy. I really hope you will be able to enjoy from my heart.
