So what is this?
hikari1.jpg

This is called SENKOU-HANABI. Have you ever hard that before?
Basically it is firework. SENKO means incense stick.
HANABI means firework.
Can you guess what it looks like?
The firework looks like incense stick.
This is how it looks:

C0FEB9E1B2D6B2D0.jpg

It is pretty, isn’t it?
Then what is good about this particular SENKO-HANABI?
Usually SENKO-HANABI is around 1 for 3 yen.
But this one is about 10.50 dollars (1050 yen) for just 7!!!!
Which means 1 for 150 yen!!!
Plus, they make only 200 SENKOU-HANABI per a day!!
Of cause, it is 100% made in Japan.
And it flames as the four part organization of Chinese poetry;
introduction, development, turn and conclusion !!!
WOW and how??? Isnt it so beautiful!!!???
That is why it is so expensive!?

By the way, SENKOU-HANABI is very seasonal things for Japanese.
In summer people do HANABI party, and in the end,
they start to do SENKOU-HANABI… it is kind of sad, lonely and Nostalgic in a way…
SENKO-HANABI is sort of representing of Japanese hart…

So did you understand what it is now, Ichi?

The National Treasure ASHURA and Masterpieces from Kohfukuji

Hi people.

When I went to the Ueno park, I also went to the Tokyo National Museum.
And then it has exhibition of The National Treasure ASHURA and Masterpieces
from Kohfukuji.
I was not interested in Ashura but 10000people visited in first day of this exhibition. Because of that I just went to there. :P

So then why 10000people wanted to see Asura?
Well the reason was this:
this is the very first time that nomale people, like me, can see Ashura,
he Devas of the Eight Classes and the Ten Great Disciples of Buddha.
They used to be only the temple of Kohfukuji.
So that is why people want to see it.

By the way, ashyra, which has three face and six arms, is a guardian deity.
Why it has three face and six arms? I don't know :P

TOKYO SKY TREE

ついに東京スカイツリーの工事が始まりました!

sky.jpg

Hi people.

Today I went to Ryoji Ikeda exhibition at Museum Contemporary Tokyo of Art.
These days most of exhibition that I went was quite bad
but this one was really good!!
Actually I went to the museum to see another things,
which was not good. So I was really surprised.

His works are media art, which mix elector sound and mathematics.
The art piece was projected huge wall, about 20m by 10m.
I don't know, it just made me feel WOW.
ohh my friends, you just have to check it!!!
In a way you can say his work was motion graphic.

And I bought his DVD!!
But the DVD didn't contain the piece that I saw today!!
Too bad!!! But I can see his other artwork.

Anyway I am really happy to see his work!
By the way the web doesn’t enough to tell his work at all.

Gunkan Jima, Gunkan Isrand

Hi people.

There arte a lot different kind of mania in Japan.
And I am going to introduce one mania that is ruins mania.
The Ruin mania loves ruin buildings.
Maybe there are those kinds of people in your country.

Now there is one of the Holy Land place for them.
The name of place is Gunkan Jima (Gunkan Island).
The Gunkan Jima is located to Nagasaki prefecture.
gunkan2.jpg

It is used to be coalmine.
And the peak of population was 5267,
which was the most population density in the world at that moment.
But since the energy system moved to oil from Coal,
the coalmine was closed 1974.
and now no one live there.

By the way, the reason why this island is called Gunkan Jima is
the shape is look like battle ship. Gunkan means Battle ship and Jima is island.
Well if you come to Japan, maybe you can visit there.
